This course series was designed to provide online preparation for the horticulture and landscape industry professional certification exam. The content includes relevant subject matter, interactive learning activities and practice quizzes that provide confidence and strategy to achieve professional certification.

Curriculum

This lesson plan package was developed as a part of curriculum components used in high school horticulture programs. The intent was to align existing horticulture curriculum with rigorous and relevant industry-recognized certification criteria.

This resource was developed for instructors, training specialists or other staff delivering classroom-based lessons/presentations. It was designed to provide trainers with activities, resources and necessary tools to adequately deliver instruction that prepares trainees to sit for the FNGLA Certified Horticulture Professional exam.

This textbook was developed in response to the continuing need for professional development and to support industry certification within the horticulture and landscape industry in Florida. The content was designed, developed and sequenced in alignment with the findings of task analyses and defined training objectives.
